About

The good, the bad, and the nasty on being a fashionable mom. Every day is a new adventure with a few outfit changes, a little craziness, stress and sometimes tears but, most of all lots of love and smiles. This is my life. This is who I am.

Costume troubles

Whew being a mom means whole lot to do.  I can't even think about fashion right now.  The closest thing that's crossed my mind about clothing was getting my Halloween costume.  And here is where the dilemma lies.  My question to the costume designers do they think only single girls want to wear the cute costumes?  My daughter is the cheshire cat, my husband is the mad hatter and I wanted to be Alice.  Only the only costumes I could find were super short. Newsflash moms want to dress up too and we still want to be cute but, not inappropriate.  Can they make the Dang costumes a little longer?  Several moms I talked to had the same complaint.  Did the costume companies just decide we shouldn't dress up as cute fun characters anymore if we are grown ups? Or is that we stopped buying the costumes so they stopped making them? Or what? Please costume companies make costumes a little longer next year for those mommies that still like being a kid every once in awhile.
