Our daughter's first birthday party has finally arrived. I was so excited for the day. I have spent months planning and crafting everything for her big day. We wanted to create a party that would allow us to really include all of the amazing milestones that happen in a child's first year of life and what better way than with a movie star theme. We chose an Audrey Hepburn inspired tutu for her outfit and went with a full Breakfast at Tiffany's theme. We created a stage with our dining room, served all movie theater food and treats. Hot dogs, nachos, popcorn, Milk Duds, Sour Patch Kids, Red Vines, and M&M's. For the children's drinks we served Shirley Temples for the older kids and Pink Lemonade for the babies. We had playbills with every milestone in her life and the dates including fun events i.e. first trip to Disneyland, and Wild Animal Park. We also had a video showing of all the pictures that coinsided with the playbill. When the guests arrived they took a picture in front of a step and repeat banner I made just like they would at a red carpet event and then walked into the staged candy and cake table. To finish off the Breakfast at Loralei's theme we had a Tiffany's box cake for her smash cake. We had tons to do for the kiddos a drawing area with play-doh and of course her birthday present her perfect Minnie Mouse inspired playhouse. The day was perfect and just how I imagined. All the hard work payed off. Thank you to all of our friends and family who made the day special. And a BIG Thank you to my husband for putting up with my craziness, my way over budget party details, and his hard work on her playhouse. Vendor Credits
